The last time I posted was my birthday so shall post about my brother's birthday!

which was not v eventful anyway.. I attempted to be a thoughtful sist and buy him a b'day prez but waaah, sucks to buy presents for boys seriously. So after wasting 2 hours of my life walking around in tedium, I ended home with nothing. x.x

For our family, it's practically always Bengawan Solo cakes for any special occasions 'cos my mom has all the vouchers and special discounts. & their cakes are well, never nice ._. I shall hope that my mom runs out of Bengawan vouchers one day.

School life is mudane as usual. Pe session is like a vicious cycle of muscle cramps. Ms Yeo is going all spartan on us! My muscle cramps were so severe that I thought I were permanently handicapped. In fact, everyone was like that. So whenever we had to climb up/down the stairs, we would be bracing ourselves, holding on to each other and groan in suffering. Epic actually, hahhah.

Aiyoh, I miss Miss Aminah xx

PS: Feels rather ashamed to be a Singaporean nowadays, seeing how the embarrassing locals are invading YT.

Happy Eighteenth Birthday to myself! :D

It wasn't exactly an awesome one. I spent my birthday drowning in a 3hr math paper. :/ & whatever happened to having birthday luck! Totally screwed up the paper. T.T

Really, there's no perks in being 18. You suddenly just feel "damn old" (as quoted by many friends who sent me messages, thanks ah). I don't know how the age where i'm supposed to feel most vibrant and young makes me feel so darn old and lethargic already. Degeneration.

And it's not like I need this age to broaden my variety in movies. I never had any interest in gruesome M18 movies in the first place. I don't need to drive a car 'cos #1 no $$ and #2 I'll most likely go in circles seeing how awesome my sense of direction is. It's just an extra burden I don't need, I think.

Still, thank you everyone who kindly gave me birthday wishes! I can't help but notice that i'm losing friends with each passing year.. Thus, big thanks to all the steadfast friends I've got. :D

Met up with sps old pals after what seems like a v v v long time, especially for me! Since I didn't manage to attend these gatherings for a few times alr..

We had lunch buffet in Momoji. Good food. Good company. Good times.

We literally laughed ourselves breathless. Like half of the time, we were planning on how to discreetly dump our wastage food in all thinkable ridiculous ways. When Xinru's mini steamboat-like order arrived, I was super excited 'cos it's like the best dumping ground hahahah! PS: Not advocating wasting food tho!

My final straw (in a positive way) was when Pearleen reminded us this super epic primary school memory. At that time, our teacher randomly enrolled us in this chinese drama competition and there's this cute friend Jinhu. We were practising lines and he had this line: 林欣如! 你给我站住!你为什么告诉叶老师我骂他? 你很鸡婆也！It was supposed to be punctuated and all but Jinhu said it like this: 林欣如你给我站~住你为什么告诉叶老师我骂~他你很鸡婆也！It was super damn funny 'cos he said it like he's reciting a rhyme song and his punctuations are all wrong! hahaha! okayyyy, it's not funny here but if you hear it there and then, you will get a stroke! (k maybe not..)

Rebecca rejoined us a little later and with 3 people sharing a brolly to brave the rain, we ran to the cinema to catch Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Brendan joined us then too!

I really like action-packed movies and this one didn't disappoint :D Some movies of this genre tend to focus too much on the action and neglects a good content but this one is sound on that aspect. Although I didn't catch a single MI series before this, it's pretty easy to grasp what's happening. Or maybe it's 'cos I had Yeepeng (who watched the movie before alr) beside me :D

In the middle of the movie, I was like desperate for the toilet and told Yeepeng about it.

Me: 我尿很急 leh!

YP: 忍!

Me: 这个还有多久才完啊?

YP: 他们等一下还要去India的!

Then I gave her the just-kill-me look. I guess that's a con about action-packed movies? 'Cos every single moment can be super darn exciting and if your bladder forces you to escape to the toilet during a certain moment, you might just miss a crucial part.

So yadaaa~ Thanks to my urgent need for the toilet, the movie got much more tentative and thrilling for me since everytime a perilous scene comes up, I am super nervous that my bladder would fail me!! T.T

Afterwards, we went to this open space area to be joined by Jason and Jasmine to have takeaway dinner together. Took photos, played games and all.

Headed to the zoo after badminton yesterday. I know right, ZOO?? But aye, since my mom had free tix. Plus I had nothing to do (except homework I guess :/ )

The thing about going out with my mother is, she's always rushing. So we didn't really get our share of relaxation in leisurely looking around 'cos she kept shuffling us away at the various shows available, with timings that happen to be back to back. And yet with venues so damn far away from each other zzz!

I think one of the reason why people stopped coming to zoos (besides the fact that there really is nothing to do there except visiting the unchanging animals, that are sometimes not even camera-friendly!) is because the quality of the animal shows are really below average. The antics are not considerably impressive and the engagement between audience is really minimal. Even if there is, it's not interesting stuffs to do.

So anyway, after all the boring animal shows, my mother finally relaxed a little and allows us to walk around and take pictos!

Friday 25/11

Headed to The Cathay with Belle, Lyn, Pat and the looooong time no see Aqi to supposingly watch In Time. Ended up watching Breaking Dawn Part1 tho! I know I am quite the anti-Twilight kind. But watching the movie made me want to watch the previous sequels I missed! Uhhh, not that this movie is superb or what lah (It's quite perverse actually). But maybe it's because there's no longer a Harry Potter movie to make comparisons. ): & I'm interested in the Jacob-Bella line in New Moon!

Anyway, Pat was like saying that she tends to talk during the movie so I told her to not sit beside me later on. She eventually sat beside me lah and really didn't utter a word. But I on the other hand, kept bombing her with questions LOL. Aye 'cos I didn't catch the previous sequels whattt, can't be blamed.

I think the funniest part of the movie was towards the end where the camera kept hovering over Bella's eyes. Then she suddenly open her eyes, just like Avatar!! Hahahah!

Saturday 26/11

Trained to Universal Studios along with mom and cousins early in the morn! 'Cos my mom is the super practical and economic kind, her priority is to maximise the worth of the tix so basically, we just ran around to go for rides after rides (the damned weather was so not helping seriously!). Hm anyway, am glad that the queues weren't that long and that I got to experience many rides and shows that I weren't able to catch last time. The benefit of going out with my mom! :D

Battlestar Galactica was funnnn but a little overrated I feel. At first, I find the Mummy ride scarier since it has the horror element. But of 'cos, after riding it for n times such that we can even memorise their lines, it gets a bit boring lah. Hahah, found joy in it tho, "Your souls, will me mine, for eternity~" .

Played from the opening hours to the closing hours. Power much? hahaha! It was enjoyable but our legs were like jelly afterwards, seriously man.

Ms Low's wedding! There's this thing about church weddings that seems to make the ceremony beautiful and complete.

After taking a photo with us, Ms Low was like, "Oh yeah! I need to collect your.." . LOL, such commitment.

Met up with Xinru and Yeepeng afterwards to watch the highly-anticipated 那些年我们一起追的女孩! :D:D

The movie didn't fail us (although we had shitty front row seats x.x). okay, it was vulgar and obscene, and I think that's all to it for the humour part. However, it's also heartwarming and realistic. It's especially meaningful to watch it with my primary school friends too since we're always being nostalgic. :)

But since I watched so many previews already which exclude all the obscene parts obviously, I feel like I have seen the majority of the movie at home already, so yeaaah. Not as exciting maybe? (okay I'm just being critical again~)

& I think the director was brilliant to use a v unfitting guy as 沈佳宜's husband so that we viewers feel even more of a pinch for 柯震. The ending was a regret, but realistic I guess.

Oh yeah, Yeepeng was v funny. Before the movie, she was saying, "I heard that The Apple of My Eye is v nice!" and after a few moments when we were saying things like, "really anticipate 那些年我们一起追的女孩 lor!", she went all "I think 那些年我们一起追的女孩 not nice ley". LOLL, faillllll. ;D

Today feels exceptional.

But of course, school is the usual blah.

During H1 Chem today, I broke a lecture table. And by breaking it, I mean the table broke into two! LOL, really man. Only things like that will occur in my interesting life. -.- Ah well, hope I don't have to pay for that 'cos really, if anyone should be compensated, I should be the one getting 精神赔偿.

Accompanied Patricia for her library duties after school, which is to attend to the library's lucky draw event. I swear that this lucky draw is the most epic (fail) one I have ever seen LOOOOOOOOOOL. The top prize is this unknown Ice watch but the literally scary ones are the subsequent prizes. Ancient camera that works on film, old Singapore money that is not worth keeping that kind, and epic of the epic dating books. Man, SERIOUSLY?!

Funny prizes, but the funnier thing was the actual happening of the lucky draw! Can you believe it, they actually invited the VP to officiate this event and give out the prizes! Actually there's this HOD teacher too but he made a straight beeline out of the library after he skimmed through the prizes, hahaha! Furthermore, the event was in the library and which library does such crazy loud events within the premises?! A'level period somemore! The enthusiastic librarian even wanted to invite the studying people to join the event to make it appear more fun? LOL, unbelievable.

And the ultra super most hilarious part was when the librarians hosting the event repeatedly got picked as winners of the prizes! LOL, AWKWARD. What lousy lucky draws allow their own personnel to participate!! But in their case, I understand la.. hahaha, Belle and I laughed like mad, I even cried man omggg!

okay mean me but thanks to the lucky draw, my day was really brightened haha! :D

Headed for the YJ Ambassadors meeting with Belle afterwards and i'm currently regretting for volunteering zzzzzzz.

Chanced upon many old friends today! :D Gouyue > Yeepeng > Jason > Juanning, Huanwen, Jiazhi ! Feels good seeing all these 老朋友!

These few days are really mad slack! School cleared all lessons so we're attending school for only OP (and MT for the rest, how awesome was my mother, who's currently sick aw, for forcing me to take up HCL back then?! ) . I can't believe OP has the same weightage as WR lor. I mean come on, the time and effort spent for OP and WR doesn't equal out at all please. Hate to think that a glitch during the 5 mins OP presentation has the ability to flush the past few months of efforts down the drain. x.x But again, what's new?

is HUILI'S BIRTHDAY! :D

Met up with Syl first at Northpoint and we took like a year to buy a present T.T & 'cos both of us really have no artistic talents to pride ourselves in, the pretty card Syl bought was instant ruined by us. ):

Trained to Vivo and we kept complaining about the super long distance (eh I have school the next day okay), hahaha one of the few common traits we have! It was only when we finally reached when Reg told us that we are 'special guests' because Huili didn't know we're coming. Hahaha, im really thriving on lateness, all the nice names we get! :D Anw, we bought the most expensive-looking cake in Breadtalk and went to meet up with Reg to sneak up on Huili for a pleasant surprise! :) I was surprised that she seemed truly surprised 'cos haven't I always been doing that role?! The last time we celebrated Regina's birthday, Huili also called me up to be the 'special guest' too! LOLLLL. Ay anw, am glad that she was glad ! Indeed, the unexpected always brings in happier returns (most times..) !

Aside from Inies, saw many others who I haven't seen for seemingly ions. Hahaha, Peiwen especially! When are we doing Hip Hop Harry again? :D

Lucky like a G6

I'm the luckiest person alive! Today at least. :D

Today was pretty epic. After reaching home from school for like 15 mins, I realised that I left behind my itouch on the ABC store counter when I was paying money. So, still in uniform, I ran like mad back to the store with v mismatched slippers. The store attendant then told me a guy took the itouch and claimed that he would help report it to the police station. Wah I almost fainted on the spot there and then 'cos can that attendant get any more, idk, ignorant? I mean the basic thing she should do is to help me keep it till I return and collect it back whattt. Aye but since she seems genuinely nice and helpful..

Anw, I ran like mad once again to the police station and true to thoughts, no one reported the itouch lorh! Made a loss report tho. While I was trying hard to hold back crying while explaining the situation to the police officer, he was guess what- distractedly watching tv -.- WHAT IS THIS!!!

And like how cliched shows work, once I stepped out of the police station, it started to rain. So I ran in the rain back to the ABC store again to rant to the attendants how cheaterbug that guy was 'cos my itouch wasn't handed to the police unlike what he promised. Hahaha, I think after this episode I may become friends with that 2 aunties. Oh anw, saw Xinru for what seems like a v long time then too! I wasn't in the best mood la like obviously so I was like sulky..

Returned home and was so guilty that I dramatically fell to the bed and wept secretly (LOL I know). Just then, my cousin suddenly flew in and asked if I had lost my itouch. Turns out that her random fb friend found my itouch and posted it on fb to find the owner aka me. :D

It's totally a miracle. I mean, what are the possibilities that such things would occur man!! I feel so blessed heeeeeeeeeee.

I laughed like mad when I see this $1 pop quiz can !?!? HAHAHA. Ms Aminah is not an econs teacher for show man seriously, super equipped with all the economic concepts to maximise profits.

In case you still don't get it, Ms Aminah cropped out her head to let people guess what her hairstyle is. And she sell this as a pop quiz for ONE dollar. Smart or smart? Hahahaha. The cost of production is maybe like cents. And because it's compulsory for all her econs students to buy one, it's a confirm plus chop profiting business. :D

BUT, I didn't buy. *dramatic dengdengdengdengggg*

So gonna get hacked. :O

Anyway, the choice of prizes are all v attractive so you can't really label the pop quiz as a scam.

Teachers really know how to exploit holidays lo. For every subject, there's either a project to do, an upcoming test to study for, or BOTH. ): It's just two days for goodness sakeeeeeee.

Sighhhs, I know it's kinda pointless already but I think i'm not cut out for Interact lo. It's not that i'm unkind okay (maybe a bit but still..), it's 'cos I totally cannot click well with both small kids and elderly (plus my anti-social nature yups). But I must give myself credit for at least attempting to look kind and enthusiastic. The reaction I gave to those kids is forever smiley, exaggerated and nice. Like they will say random things like " I know how to spell animal a-n-i-m-a-l . Then like the hypocrite that I am, I will 1. widen my eyes excessively 2. gasps 3. and exclaimed "omg you're so smart ! " . Then instead of feeling grateful for being praised, they just look away T.T Maybe kids nowadays are too smart to buy this kind of fake act.

And they indeed are smart lo omg. There's this boy that actually studies the different types of lizards (whatever happened to his childhood?!) and made us listen to him talk and talk about it. Can see how significantly disappointed he was when I obviously don't understand a thing he said. Sorry la boy. :O And there's also this ~~annoyingly stuck-up~~ girl who made our lives so difficult. 'Cos we prepared this long list of stuff to teach them but yep, they're too smart so she was like 'boring boring boring' . Walau so awkward la seriously. Then, maybe because her 'boring boring boring' mantra is v catching, the other girl started copying her too which resulted in a fight 'cos it's apparently some major copycat issue. Can you understand kids?!?!?!? I can't.

The cip activity was so taxing that I slept through when I reached home and wake up at 4 plus am to do last minute revision for econs CA3. x.x It's unfair to say this but still, THANKYOU AH HYPER KIDDOS.

Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows II

I'm in mourning mode.

I think this is the first movie I watched this year. & it has to be so sad. ): I mean the ending is happy and all but I can't believe that this legendary movie is coming to a closure. This saga was, or is, such a huge influence to me, accompanying me for 10 whole years. In fact, I can still recall my mother bringing me and my cousins to catch Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone. And that movie was one of the first movies I had watched in my life then.

The movie was comparatively short since it's a part 2 after all, but still it was an emotional and apprehensive 1 hr 50 mins. Even from the start when the title of the movie flashes on the screen, I went all emo by myself already. ): The thing about the last part of the saga is, new revelations keep coming which is totally overwhelming. Like, the poor Severus Snape that I had misunderstood for my whole HP journey is actually a victimized saint. :O It was v sad when Lord Voldermort eventually died 'cos it was then when it really hit you hard that omg this is truly the end.

Honestly, I think The Deathly Hallows II is not the best out of the entire series, maybe 'cos I didn't watch part1 (definitely must watch !! -,-) and also, the ending was pretty obvious so when Harry Potter appeared to be dead initially, it wasn't really saddening 'cos you know for sure that's putting on a pretence (hahaha sorry i'm the spoiler type). But anyhow, it was definitely the most impactful. Sighhhhhhz, me and Lyn cannot stop sighing and mourning since the movie ended lo. Oh yeah, she even bought the Harry Potter's owl tumbler, that is honestly rather hideous, in remembrance of the movie hahaha.

Anyway, after the movie ended, I realise that my fave character is

Draco Malfoy. He provided a huge chunk of humour and entertainment as a mean bully initially and as he grows older, he lost a lot of the former cuteness and became a much more conniving character. But it's hard not to sympathize with him 'cos he had so much negative family influences and it's apparent that he's not a wicked person inside out. Always sad to see him struggling between abiding Lucius' wishes or staying true to himself. Thus, it was extremely gratifying to see the Malfoys leaving the dark side towards the end. :D

And this concludes my last blog post on Harry Potter, the best adventure fantasy saga ever, period (at least MUCH better than the Twilight saga lo). I think I'll still watch the various sequels from time to time since I always discover something new when I watch it on repeat. It's just the disappointment of knowing that you can no longer hold expectations for an upcoming new sequel. Ugh this is sad.

Okay, I should kind of spend this time blogging on my stuck WR instead but i'm too absorbed in my loss to do so. ):

Great seeing all these people after what feels like a long time. (:

We did all the typical things you can do there lo. Picnic, kite-flying, photos, frisbee. All under the darn hot sun rahhhh. Personally, I like the frisbee part the most! :D It was the shorties (Wchien & Reg) v.s the tallies (Kat & Me) with the tallest (Jiayi) being the referee cum photographer. I think we're all supposed to blog that we had an intense long match with a tied result but I cannot type it out without seeming extremely fake so I shall just admit that we collapsed after like 10 mins.

The intense part was true though! Everyone played like there's a prize. But I think we over-estimated the shorties team who kept showing off before the game. ;D Height advantage (Y)

Worst CIP Ever

Hahaha, feels like a million years since I last blogged ! Why would you even feel that it's frequent lo Kat! Aye anw, there's nothing much to blog about school life. Ohyah, PW! Sucks man, I have to start adapting to staying back in school till around 8++ pm for consultations alr. ): & PI is only like 6% of the entire project work is it? T.T

16 April 2011 (Last Saturday)

Went to this CIP thing to paint other people's houses. Wow, this has gotta be the worst-organised cip event I have ever went to zzzzzz. And to think that it's supposed to be pretty established! They told us to reach at 7 am right but we only started at around 12+ pm okay! 5 hours to a JC student is no joking matter mannnnnn (shamelessly saying this yep ahahha!). Aye anw! How can waste our time like that right!

That is not all okay. When we finally reached the occupant's house, it kind of dawned on us that nobody is going to teach us or at least guide us on how to paint. We're all on our own, LIKE WHAAAAAAAT?! I mean, if it's our own house it's fine lah since yeah, our own house what. But how can any how paint other people's house righttttttt! So obviously, we were clueless of what to do and kinda ruined the person's house LOL. Like you know, we accidentally painted the window panes, cupboards and all that stuff. Tsk, all the times I spent watching Bai Jia Le on Channel 8 is wasted.

The occupant was v kind tho! Hahah, she told us we did a good job (don't know sarcastic or not la hahaha) before we left to let the other group of people take over. So yeah, that is supposed to be where it ends 'cos our cip scope is only painting houses. BUT! After we returned back to the base, this person-in-charge told us that we volunteers should be maximally utilised (?!) and thus, dispatched us to collect canned food from a block. Okay that is still not all that bad 'cos aiyah, we kind :D We only started getting really pissed off when we realised that we have never-ending of blocks to cover. Really. All the sense of accomplishment just drops to pit bottom man.

Angry us stormed back to the base again (after covering n blocks) to be dismissed BUT (like again), that crappy person gave us the shock of our lives when he told us that we can only be dismissed at 6pm 'cos there's this MP arriving. And the best part is, they threaten that they will not clock in our cip hours if we leave earlier than that.

Amaaaaaaaaazing.

Haven't heard of this kind of nonsense in a long long time alr. So beause of how unreasonable they are, the whole base started becoming so chaotic (mainly from people of other schools) that it could easily become a mini protest! The organising committee even had to tape this thing on the door to bar people from barging in and whatsoever. It is to the extent where there are people shouting and one hysterical girl sort of acted up and cried like crazy LOL!

Oh anw, if you are wondering why people are trying to enter the base is because our bags were kept in captivity. Smart move on the organising committe part to refrain us from running away. Well, our class people managed to escape eventually la 'cos the committe kinda gave up alr. Why wait till now to give up man, seriously! You could have saved a lot of hatred and trouble.

Last note. Please don't ever organise such events again. Or at least, change an organising committee.

17 April 2011 (Last Sunday)

Get-together with Peng & Ru ! It's supposed to be a weekly thing but 'cos of the different commitments, kept postponing! ): But as usual, had a really great time catching up! :D It's v comforting to have such old and longevity friends 'cos it's like I have known them forever!

whoo, feels good to type a lengthy blog post once in a while! Next week is going to be one hectic week with all the tests that i'm always bad in (econs and chem!!!!!!!!) taking place. PLUS! There's this inter-class debate which I really don't want to take part. Should the Government impose sensorship? Opposition how to argue uggggggggggh!!!!!!!!

Had a mini birthday celebration for Reggy with Toastinies + Darren at Pastamania yesterday! :) Although I stayed for a pretty short while only, had fun chatting and watching Regina (cum LiuQian the 2nd LOL) showed off her magic tricks. Okay, actually it seems like all the people there know the magic tricks lo and as usual, I had to be the sad girl that entertains them with my cluelessness. ): hahaha.

Everyday has been a blur so I can't really recall anything to blog about. There, that's why blogging once in a while is such a bad idea. :O Anw,

Last Saturday:
Met up with Pearlyn and Xinru for breakfast as well as to celebrate the latter's birthday! :D Actually, it was a surprise mini birthday celebration. The initial plan was to inform Xinru that I would be late so that she would meet up with Pearlyn at Northpoint first while I purchase the cake. So you can imagine how stunned am I when she came up to my house to wait for me to go together. That's the thing about being neighboursssssss.

Aye, things didn't turn out exactly smoothly afterwards. Pearlyn bought a strawberry shortcake which Xinru doesn't usually eat (but ate it anw for us )'; hahaha!). Had a great time with the two! :)

Tsk, I think sooner or later, this place can only be updated monthly alr! Miss those days when daily posts are actually possible and deemed normal. :O

5 March

Huiting's birthday! Happy belated seventeenth birthday ahdaiiiiiiiiiiiiiii ! :D Finally met up with the NYJC peeps Inies & Toasties (aka Toastinies LOL) ! :D Perry joined us too! Went to this pretty isolated steamboat/hotpot restaurant @ Ang Mo Kio for lunch buffet. Had a good time talking over food ! Anw, they kept telling me those lame lame riddles (?) or whatever those are la, hahaha! I think I can only remember the Black Magic thingy now. I pissed them to the max 'cos I was like uber slow in getting the trick, even Perry whom I barely talked to went all "WALAUUUUU". LOL, WHAT!!

Played Monopoly Deal with them (except Huiting, Yingjie and Perry) and lost terribly as usual ! The scheming girl Regina won both games tho, hehehe. Trained back together too, missed bickering with Chien the short. ): Oh yah, just recalled smth. Recently, Patricia (jc friend) who is shorter than me said "You're not that tall what!". LOL, break my heart. Reminds me A LOT of Wchien please!

9 - 12 March (Bintan Camp)

Possibly the worst camp I've ever been too. Seriously man omgggg. Okay la, shan't be so negative. At least we get to sleep in the air-conditioned conference rooms! But the toilet facilities really ughhh man. And some of the taps there work in intervals ! What I really dislike about the camp is their strong desire to make us dirty every single minute. Like, we always have to sit on wet, sandy and overall dirty floors. Even after we finished bathing lorh! Defeats the whole purpose of bathing alr right! The activities they planned will also almost always make us soiled ultimately one lo, pfft.

Because of the frequent rain, we have to cancel many of the activities and do various games or cheers which can get utterly boring lo. One activity I love and hate the most out of the entire camp is the mountain trekking part. Wah really, once in a lifetime kind of experience x.x You know those rock climbing and abseiling skills we learnt from primary and secondary school camps? I didn't know we were equipped with such skills to prepare us for such mountain trekkings omggg. Believe it or not, 3/4 of the trek, we had to rock climb or abseil, without harnesses! Instead, we could only rely on shabby ropes, trees and whatever available. Medieval life much? Till now, I still can't believe our safety were so disregarded lo! Am so freaking lucky to made it out alive, seriously. I can still remember the worst part was the coming down part. The mountain was so steep that we had to sit on the dirty grounds and slide our way down almost throughout! For clean freaks, that day must be the worst day of their lives.

Ah, I said I love the mountain trek the most too 'cos despite it being so life-threatening and horrifying, it was darn thrilling in a thwarted way too hahaha! Definitely an eye-opener and a v memorable experience. :D But once is sufficient la, seriously.

ohohohoh! Did I mention that I saw around 4-5 shooting stars there?!!??! Omgggggg right! Okay, actually, this is left for pending 'cos Jiehan was super positive that what I saw were merely birds. BIRDS?! Nvm, I shall believe in the former and the better. :D Positive me!

Anw, I realise that for camps, I always happen to be in a group that doesn't like to cheer. ): Why?!?! As lame and childish cheers can be, camps thrive on them! Cheers ftw! :D I hope I would be in hyper groups in future camps! (okay actually not much chance alr since i'm so old zzzzzzzz)

Anw, first heard of the Japan 8.9 magnitude earthquake in camp from the teachers. Idk why, I feel a slight attachment to Japan and seeing the massive destruction on tv is really scary. (I hope the Thomas Land theme park is still there). Hope the Japanese have the strong will to carry on, hard but still, keep the faith!

13 March

Went badminton with Yeepeng and Xinru early in the morningggggg! Hahaha, we should just stick to jogging actually 'cos we ended up talking more than we badminton-ed ! Had a really hearty talk with them too, awesome :D

Oh anw, I passed my maths test omggggggggggggg. :D
& failed my chem one, dangz.

YJC CVD'11.

It wasn't thaaaat awesome la, but okay I guess. CTG 123's Real Men Shave Ice booth was quite a mess initially with all the plugs not working and a lot of last minute decoration work, but everything kind of work it's way out in the end. :)

Gouyue, Liwen and Weinie came early so I accompanied them straight after my shift at the booth was over. :D The carnival really nothing la so we tour around a bit then go sit and chat alr. So grateful to them for coming! Especially miss Gouyue mannnn! Miss all the lame things she will come out with when i'm tired or upset. She's like the best mood-maker lo! It's so easy to be happy around her. Definitely one of my bestest friend ever. :D Thankyou again!

After they left, went for my Interact duties. That is, to accompany the elderly coming to the carnival. The whole event was super disorganised I think! But anw, I was attached to this rather cute granny that is super fit and talkative (even more interactive than me lo) ! hahaha! Although sometimes there'll be awkward silence and it's quite sian when she treats me like maid (LOL) la. BUT it was fruitful I guess. & she thanked me so earnestly after the whole thing ended, aw. :)

Didn't manage to talk to Peiwen and friends because of my duties tho! Aye. ):

SUNDAY.

Jogging with Xinru! :D So sad that she would no longer be my neighbour in around 4 years time 'cos she's moving soon to the condo near SSC. ): Ah well, it's still Sembawang anw. Anw, I think I made jogging so inefficient for her, hahaha! Shall try to gear up my stamina for the upcoming Bintan camp and Napha siannnnnnnnnnn. :O

Felt really really really really really really really reaaaaaaaaaaaaally dumb. We were supposed to do this Maths quiz online. I completed the test within 0 minutes (took only a few secs hor) when it's a 30 minutes quiz. Amazing right. 'Cos I freaking did only 1 question only. 1 QUESTION T.T There was this 'submit' button there and I stupidly thought that I had to press that to navigate to the next question. But instead of getting that, I saw a page full of red crosses and this pathetic 1 mark score. 1 STUPID INSIGNIFICANT MARK WALAU. It's graded lorh! Was so shocked that I stoned and stared at the comp screen for a minute. Seriously, what a good start to my first maths test man zzzzzzzz. x.x

MONDAY.

Anw, I approached my maths teacher today and to my utmost horror, I can't get a re-take! How inflexible and unsympathetic. T.T What makes me feel worse is that the test is supposed to help boost marks one lo, 'cos the maths written test next week will be super damn hard. Almost all my classmates got full marks for the online test okay. T.T

Emo-ed the whole day and Aqilah comforted me with the comeback teaser of CN Blue that is released today! Hahaha, v effective indeed. :D Can't wait for 21st March for their full album! :D

Hello there! It has been a week! Shall do a long and draggy post today! :D

Monday

Met up with Syl early in the morning to pass her money and that was when she bombarded me the news that she, Reg and Huili will not be able to attend the CVD Carnival 'cos of their ISLE camp! Devastating! Was really anticipating them to come! ): Aye, I know they feel bad too, esp my guilt-stricken sonny hahaha! Appreciate the thoughts tho, have fun at camp you people! :D

Not only Inies but dancers like Wchien & Huiting can't make it too! Jiazhi also! ): But thinking on the bright side, at least Gouyue and friends are coming so yeaaaaaaaah great. :D

First day of proper school was an endless cycle of lectures and tutorials. It was all okay, UNTIL ECONS. x.x I was on tenterhooks throughout the whole lecture man, *reflecting on it and shiver again. Anw, I love Eng Lit! :D All the teachers are cool ! It's the only subj I really enjoy studying, period.

Headed to NP's Mac with Lynette, Huimin and Aqilah for publicity work for our CVD booth. Even saw Juanning and Wangkiat at the bus stop afterwards! :D Hahaha, really love the familiar feeling of chatting with them and all ! & I hope Wangkiat keeps to his promise of promoting my class booth which is btw REAL MEN SHAVE ICE. Like what Wangkiat said, the booth name really v Junhao-style. LOL!

Tuesday

Had the stronggggg econs lecturer for our class tutor as well, lucky. GP is downright boring; Chem & Maths are uber difficult! :O Really hate the science subjs man!

Anw, altho my JC timetable ends so much later than sec sch's, time flies faster in JC! Not that I enjoy lessons so much that time seems to fly la duh, weird ley!

Met up with Gouyue and Liwen afterwards to pass them the CVD tix :D Gouyue gave me my belated birthday prez too, thanks!! :)

Maths and Chem are still incomprehensible. Econs is still making me nervous.

Anw, went for the Interact Club's first meeting tho I wasn't even posted there (posted to dance!) . They had a mini orientation and had fun! :D

Friday

Starting to adapt to the econs tutor's style of teaching alr! As long as you're not sitting at the last row of the LT and gives her the attentive look 24/7, you're safe, period. Had nearly 2 hrs of GP omggg. Furthermore, the homework given is like more than all the other subjs' hmwk totalled together, sian! :O

Had almost 3 hrs of break afterwards. Okay, 2 hrs break and 1 hr of self-revision to be exact but what's the diff!! Should just release us early okay!

Met up with Syl impromptu @ NP! Went to eat at the Japanese foodcourt & Eunice appeared out of nowhere! She said that she had a feeling that there will be Chungcheng people so she walked in, like weird one lo she hahaha! Anw, we three had a mighty hearty chat that is super satisfying ~~not 'cos we were gossiping but~~ because we finally get to converse comfortably in Chinese! JC is super english-oriented idk why!! I spent the whole time in school speaking English with my classmates almost 24/7, so xinku!

Anw, I had a superb time with them! For once in the entire week, i'm totally unstressed and super cheery kaay! It has been a long time since I laughed so heartily and talked so much too! Love these two! :D

Also, saw the netball girls (Fiona(!), Eva, Chantel and Crystal) too! A big group of ex-cchy guys turned up suddenly too and bombarded our table!

Saturday

Woke up early in the morning to go for dance! Damn tiring man omgggggg. The chinese dance warm-up in sec sch is really nothing as compared to what I went through today T.T There's this alumni who took on the role of teacher and taught us some hiphop routines too. LOL I know right. Hiphop and me are so mismatched. ;D SO! I told the teacher I wanted to transfer to Interact. And she agreed so readily hahaha! I must have been really dancing super badly LOL. Hope that there's many CIP to do at Interact! Not that i'm a saint or what la, testimonials.. :O

Today is Yongseo Day! I just finished watching the on9 streaming and it was super sweet ! Super high now 'cos I saw the preview and their wedding photoshoot is next week yesssssssssssssssssssssss! :D Excited ttm, can't wait for Saturday (which is CVD day wth) !

PS: CN Blue is releasing their album on 28 Feb, not next month! :D:D:D

whoooooo Global Perspective Symposium is o-verrrrrr! Dedicated a whole week on the project when it can be completed within 3 days lo what the hell ! :O Hahaha but it's okay 'cos can slack in the Student Resources Room. I love that room! :D

Project work is hard ! What I did in secondary school doesn't seem to apply here in Jc lo! Gone are the superficial 'causes' and 'consequences'. Instead, there's a lot of deep thinking to do (which I hate) and you have to stretch the little little points so ridiculously! Furthermore, our group's topic is about social networking. Sounds easy right ? But we somehow have to elaborate until optical fibres there lo. sheeeeeeesh, v sian. T.T

And because my general knowledge is so pathetic, wasn't really contributing much aye! Hope the A'level projectwork task is within my scope of knowledge :O Lectures and cca start next week! Hope my teachers are all super productive and patient. :D Anw, I like our CT Ms Beverly Low, v encouraging and warm. :)

I find my classmates all v chim people, hahaaha. Even the games they play are hard okay! It's like writing the names of a famous people on a post-it and you have to stick it on the head of the person next to you so that everyone but you knows who 'you' are. Then each person gets to ask 3 questions each turn which will lead you to finding out the name on your post-it. Because idk how to ask intelligent questions and I have no idea who do those foreign names belong to, I played twice and lost twice! Can't we play games like Chikchik Bangbang instead? ): Stupid games are my forte bwahaha! :D

Sidetracking, yesterday was Yongseo's 1st Anniversay ♥ omgggg, have been following them for a year alr! Unfortunately, I think their WGM session will be ending this year noooooooooooooo. I would have nothing to look forward to on weekends then, sad! ):

& CN Blue's album is going to be delayed for an entire month goshhhh! :O But wise choice on their part 'cos they wouldn't have to compete with BigBang! I shall wait patiently. :)

Yishun JC is really chionggggg I think. They say it's CNY celebrations but they started off with boring project work lectures. & furthermore, the J2s had to study on that day zz! Orientation was okay laaaaaa, from my v unprejudiced pov. I miss OG7, can't seem to click well w/ my new permanent class. T.T It's not that i'm anti-social anw. I took a lot of initiative to make new friends okay! But aye.. Even the fortune master in the Channel 8 CNY show said that the Roosters will be unlucky this year, esp in human relations lo. Go me, 2 yrs 2 yrs!

Anw, met up with Inies after the CNY celebrations.

It was a dramatic reunion hahaha! I miss them so much ! ): Trained to AMK Hub and lunched @ Fish & Co. and my niceeeeee friends went to set up this birthday prank! It's like, having to use the mouth to pick out 17 candle stubs from the cake. Tho it's pretty unglam, was quite relieved actually 'cos Syl kept giving me the impression that it's going to be smth scary initially! I knew they went to great lengths for this, so thankyou my dears! How to find another bunch of chummy friends like you guys man, really! :O

In YJC, it takes me all the way back to the days when i'm still a sec 1 in Chungcheng. Those days, I actually cried all day when no one was looking 'cos I was so lonely. But now a seventeen, I can't do that la. Seventeen is oldddd. In this new and unfamiliar environment, hope I can survive well.

Sidetracking, besides Inies, I miss all the great people I found in CCHY toooooo. Dancers, Teletubbies and 4e'10 (esp Jiazhi, Peiwen, Huanwen and Chermaine they all) ! Wenchien ahhhh, Sylvene told me you grew taller alr omggggggggggg. & I can't even begin talking about how much I miss Gouyue whom i'm so deeply indebted to! Thankyou to all these precious friends who gave me so much! Gratefulllllll. :)

To Xinru & Peng who have been supportive friends throughout my 10 years of education, T H A N K Y O U ! Idk how I would have been w/o you guys! I remembered how emotionally unstable I was when I screwed up this exam and Xinru accompanied me home even tho she had smth on. )';

Spent my 17th birthday with Sylvene! :D Thankyou for the day and your pig-themed prezs!

Also, thankyou to all my great friends for the heartwarming birthday messages! And the facebook posts too! Deeply appreciated ! :D ohyah, I was actually waiting for Gouyue's birthday message or at least a facebook post yesterday! Because she is so super predictable, I know she will definitely pull up old antics like deciding to wish me at 11.59pm or smth. I wanted to play along at first la but you know right, i'm never the patient type. I ended up smsing her to hurry up and wish me happy birthday instead of waiting till 11.59pm. bwahaha, feel so bad. :/

Anw, I really dread being a seventeen (old old old old old). D: Because I rejoined blogger late, I didn't get to rant about how I detest this 2011 too. Aye, this year doesn't seem that bright man! Having the need to adapt to all the new things, new environment and new friends, v tiring. It's v hard for me to survive in unfamiliarity so tsk, how!!

Anw, me and Syl went to play badminton at Yishun stadium there. 'Cos there was no other people, we had free extension of time. :D hahaha! Played until I almost vomited tho. That Sylvene lah, keep insisting that we should play until I win a match. And even towards the end, I didn't win a single one okay. T.T

Kbox w/ 4e girls! :)

Headed to AMK Kbox with Gouyue, Juanning, Huiting, Huili, Huanwen and Chermaine yesterday! :D Felt so great and accomplished 'cos me and Gouyue had been planning to go Kbox since last year's March hols! A torturous 10 months drag. T.T

As usual, enjoyed myself immensely! Like seriously, such place is the best hang-out! Moreover, it was only $6 per pax so yeah, having fun without feeling burdensome. :D To top it off, I had great company too - everyone was uber highhhhhhhhhhhh, hahaha! Although Chermaine claimed that she was only there to watch the music videos only (?!!) , she sang along to most songs too (she's amazing, like her mouth didn't move but got sound come out one! ;D hahaha!) . :D

Somehow, we v bu4 zi4 liang4 li4 and selected many high-pitched songs. It was so throat-cutting 'cos you have to practically use the fake voice throughout the entire song. I broke voice for like n times there.

Then, Huiting had to leave due to work while Huili got us a free 1/2 hr extension! Towards the end where the more hyper songs came out, everyone was standing up and making loud noises. Yes seriously! It's practically not singing anymore. You have to shout super loud to hear your own voice. You know, rocker style. (Y) LOL.

Anw, it came to a point where our time was up and the machine stopped letting us select songs. However, as the waiter didn't come to shoo us like we thought he would, we thick-skinnedly remained behind to sing those songs that were on auto-play even though those songs are pretty unfamiliar. Hahaha!

Because those songs kept repeating, Huanwen even suggested that we should stay behind and practise those songs until we master them LOL. You call this perseverance !

Well, maybe not so much on perseverance. We eventually still got bored and decided to ignore the auto-play songs to sing our own fave songs, whoooooooo. FINALLY left when we had our fill. :D

Had a blast! :D

PS: I miss singing She Bangs tho. Haven't select that song in kbox for don't know how long alr.

JAE Submission

Omg just submitted the JAE thingy. I was so nervous and tentative la, gosh. Although I had written down my choices on paper beforehand, I kept indecisively making last minute changes. Typing down those choices are so excruciating! Even down to the 9th - 12th choices, I had to take at least 3 minutes to consider and type out worriedly. I got several time-outs because of that and had to re-do everything, sheesh. :O

Nevertheless, thank you to all the people who gave me useful info and opinions about which colleges or polys to apply to. I'm grateful. :)

Anw, watching My Princess recently to kill time. ahhhhhh, that show is really cute and hilarious. :D The two main leads are superrrrr. (Y) It's refreshing to see them escape from their usual classy cliched roles and being so quirky and funny in this show. Aye, should be fulfilling my promise to Syl and watch Sungkyunkwan Scandal instead tho. :O

One last thing! Was reading this v outdated Teenage mag yesterday when I saw this Google-powered search engine web being featured: blackle.com. Simply saying, it works like Google but it's more energy saving. So, if you're a greenie (like Regina) that is all for saving resources and so, use blackle.com instead okay. :D

Vietnam Trip & Grad Night '10

Omggg, I have really lost touch. After not blogging for so long, I actually feel irritated to start again. But aye, I really have nothing to do nowadays. It has been only Facebook & Youtube for both yesterday and today. Seriously mannnnnnnn, i'm facing comp for almost 24/7. Can die one. :O

Anw, recently returned from the 6-day Vietnam trip and Grad Night 2010.

Vietnam Trip

The 6 days were omggg-horrendous. Language barrier is one thing, their hygiene problem is another. For some food vendors, they anyhow rinse the used crockery and considered them clean alr lorh! (okay, that is like what I do during F&N practicals. But those that I didn't use soap are washed beforehand by the previous user alr, so can't compare!)

The best thing is, when my mother asked for a straw, they 光明正大 gave her other people used before one LOL. It's like a norm for them but to us, a total freak show. :O Tskkkkk.

The springrolls there are darnnnnnnnnnnnnnn delicious, a definite must-try. :D

The only plus of the trip is that the tv channels in our hotel are rather fantastic! I watch Tom & Jerry like daily. & there's KBS World too. :D It's an important aspect 'cos since there's nothing much to do except shopping in Vietnam, a huge portion of the time was spent watching TV, (L)

PS: My best buy there was definitely Shinchan DVDS, :D 4 discssssssssssssssss yay.

Grad Night 2010

Felt so flustered 'cos thanks to the Vietnam trip, I didn't get to attend a single rehearsal ! & felt rather uncomfortable throughout w/o specs. Aye anw, I find the event average 'cos it was neither esp touching nor high. Interesting, but not memorable. It was fun to see friends all pretty and dressed up tho. I think Yuen Yee looks the most different. She looks cute usually but she was so sophisticated & pretty that day. (Y) :D

Headed to Sentosa with cousins to catch the Voyage De La Vie show! :D The stage effects are good but I really don't get the story plot leh. & I think I watch too much of the 菲哥 show alr, that's why didn't find those performers realllllly fascinating. :O My favourite segment was where this performer got sawed into two and his upper body part went to play the piano, like omggggggggg erxin.

Anw, I really feel like a frog in a well 'cos I feel so overwhelmed when I reached there! Like, that place doesn't belong to Singapore anymore. It's a fabulous change. (Y) I must must must visit Universal's Studio after Os !! :D

Thursday

I WATCHED INCEPTION. AND IT WAS AWESOME. :D

Seriously, you have to watch it to know how enthralling the movie is. Despite it's long duration, every single minute of it is filled with great intensity so it's pretty impossible to get bored at any point of time. Inception is so brilliant that it does not require any additional frills to keep you engaged, the plot itself is captivating enough. Ah, Leonardo Dicaprio is a bonus to the movie too of 'cos. :)

Anw, 4e came in 2nd for the Racial Harmony Competition. Credits to Ms Wong for making it compulsory plus going to great lengths to help us borrow those costumes. The entire costume experience was crummy for me though. Shoulder pads, extinct please.

Friday

Went to Huili's church event 'cos she was performing the Waka Waka song. Hahaha, funny to see her dancing. Moreover, in tribal clothes. LOL. It was well danced tho, heh. :D There were several games afterwards and the Fear Factor one was like OMGGGGGGGGGGG. Pig's intestines. Pig's brains. Pig's tongue. Bloody heartbreaking. D:

Despicable Me

After missing out good movies like Nanny Mcphee ( damn, my piggggggggggggggggggs! D: ) & Toy Story 3 which I had die die wanted to watch, I finaaaaaaally got to watch this long-awaited movie with Inies - DESPICABLE ME !

Ehm, I think it's not as good as many people claimed it is la. I mean, a movie should be more than just some side humour and cuteness right. A good and moving plot is too essential. Or maybe i'm already too old for cartoons, ahaha.

Being cliched, I shall repeat the millionth time that AGNES IS DAMN CUTE. :D But it also makes me even more convinced that children are an annoying bunch. The thousands geeky-looking potatoes in the show are cuter anyway. :)

I want to watch Inception alottttttttt. But based on experience, I am almost certain that I won't end up watching it. :(

Away from 18 - 20 June, not really fun 'cos:

1. The food's not good.

2. No good companions = Boring. Would have preferred to go with cousins! :D

A summary of the things we did:

Magic Show. Not really amazing 'cos it's really similar to those we watch on tv but still, the magician is funny HAHA. :D
Acrobatics Show or smth. That one was really spectacular and glamourous! :D
Watched this fake Elvis Presley who was supposingly the best imitation and his mini concert. All oldies la so quite boring. :O
Snorkelling at this super beautiful island with disgusting toilets. :D:D Omg man, it's like a step closer to my dream of scubadiving. :D I even have the snorkelling set now! But anw, snorkelling is not that satisfying 'cos you can't go v deep to see more corals and fishes. And you would inevitably keep drinking maxified salty water. ): Still, it's cool. :D

I think that's about it la. It's like so few activities but i'm like constantly rushing throughout the 2-3 days. & because i'm always rushing, I took v few picts. Nothing much to take anw.

Out with dancers !

Maybe it's because I shut myself at home for too long a period, I feel extra chatty that day. HAHA. & extra anti-social too (ironically).

First stop:
Bowling (despite Wchien's constant grumbling about wanting to eat, sorry I know you need to grow D:) . It was rather fun la, altho the scores pretty much suck. Bowling has become smth stressful for me alr la, thanks to my mighty great sonny who NEVER FAILS to bluff people around that i'm really good at it. Hello my dear, beating your D's bowling score doesn't make me a pro okay ~~'cos he too lousy~~. HAHA (revenge for 'messy hair' comment :D). Anw, it was funny when Jiayi throw out the ball and it came rolling back instantaneously 'cos suddenly got blockage. HAHA! Then still got Wchien's stuck-in-the-middle-of-nowhere ball that refuses to budge. Oh, Huiting's a big time bowling prodigy man! First timer but won us all, TWICE. But again, maybe the problem lies with us la. ;P

Second stop:
Long John's for lunch! Crazy on Potatoes meal is like cheap, satisfying and yumz. :D Regina was like carrying out her usual practice of shooting people with ice cubes through straw (not my genes). Being the responsible poppy that I am, I attempted to revenge for the rest by shooting her with water back. Attempted and failed. D: She ended up teaching me how to shoot ice cubes instead. uh okay ~

Third stop:
Kbox! ( Had planned to go with Gouyue during the June hols but she's too 被动 alr la! & not forgetting her '宅' trait. :D HAHA. Anw, you still want to go? :D ) It was good, kbox is almost always satisfying for me la, super release stress one. :D Several times, we attempted to get high by standing up but it always ended up awkward somehow LOL. Oh yeah, I realised She Bangs has become my TM song & Ten Little Indians is Regina's. I'm not proud to have it. :O Smth terrifying: Huiting went to the restroom for like n times during the session. ;D

Anw, all of us got really upset when the amount we supposingly thought to pay doubled. D: Okay, it says $ 13 ++ right. You can't blame us to jaw-drop when the amount suddenly became $ 21.70! To think that Regina & I assumed that the insignificant ++ would be a few cents only can! Katherine seemed super laoda-ish angry okay, scared me! & Jiayi was continuously grilling the kbox staff to the extent that I almost clapped for her (but of course didn't).

The way to the train station was tiring 'cos shorty wants to prove that she has super long legs, badly. D: Haha. Oh, during the train ride, I kindly shared ghost stories with them and everyone hates me after that. What to do, i'm bad with telling jokes. D:

There are 2 seminars to attend tomorrow, sad case. The previous literature seminar wasn't all that effective to me. Hope tomorrow's ones will be much more beneficial ! :)

Sidetracking a bit, I heard Huanwen sang a super x846375438 ancient song today can ?!!!!!?!??! HAHAHA I THINK ITS SUPER FUNNY. HAHAHA, hearing a teenager sing this is total LOL.

I have after effects from doing too much of F&N Coursework Part A. Now, whatever I buy that's edible, I will never fail to scrutinize the labels and criticize the high calories blah. Today, I went into a shop to buy chips but I ended up spending 20 minutes there to compare the different brands' nutrition values. -.-

Okay lah, Maybe I should go get some serious work done now. :/

I woke up today feeling grumpy and sad 'cos, ZOMG IT'S JUNE ALR! D:

English oral prelims today. Had to wait for 1 whole hour before we could enter MPH okay, zz. Anw, poor me had to endure the lovebirds' unreasonability (new word). I like how Sean used me to spite Huili uh. -.- & it's not like I can move to sit somewhere else 'cos i'm too kind a friend, aye. :) Oh, it was rather hilarious at the MPH with Peiwen they all. Bryan failed to show off his magic tricks 'cos Mrs Goh kept patrolling. Anw, he is a v honest boy LOL. & Roy is getting gay-er every minute, tsk.

Overall, I think I did okay for oral ? I stammered a lot and Ms Lim was obviously super distracted to the extent that I had to keep looking at her before saying anything. I must have sounded pretty ridiculous too 'cos Ms Lim kept giving me the amused look. Haha nvm.

Homed with Katherine, it has been a rather long time since we last did so.

Sidetracking a little, I just finished a super fantastic book, A Golden Age. It's mainly about the war between Bangladesh and Pakistan and the sacrifices in terms of love, kins and human nature made. There was this part where the Major chose to sacrifice himself by surrendering himself to the enemy to protect Rehana's son, so 伟大! ): This is not a book review, but totally worth a read ! :D Right now, moving on to Jodi Picoult's The Pact which Huili agitatedly recommended, HAHA. She was saying that the plot was so touching that she cried and all. Up till now, the only story that I cried for is Charlotte's Web. It's also that book which developed my interest in pigs. See how amazing good storybooks are? :) Okay, I sound like some library ambassador.

PS: My cousin gave me a Ipod Nano for no reason. I was super shocked, but yay thanks! :D

Mock tests for the whole week! From the day I know that we don't have to submit our mock papers for grading, I have been loving these exams. :D A bit waste time tho.

Thursday:

Had f&n practical examination and missed out the investiture, aw. Anyway, although the things I cooked aren't anywhere near perfect, i'm pretty satisfied. Come on, you mean I don't deserve 5000 claps for not damaging anything ?! HAHA. Aye, just really glad that the practical exam is over (PS: MORE UPCOMING COURSWORK TO DO). Super envious of the CS people, they finished coursework! D:

Ohyah, the ITouch my bro ordered arrived on that day! I seriously think that he bought that thing to play Taptap only lor.

To triple the gratification, my grandma compromised with me to let me watch the 7pm slot of You're Beautiful while she watch her 娘家 the next day, yay! :D

Firstly, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ROY & TONGYIEN ! :D Roy, I will give you the chance to beat me in Taptap as a birthday prez HAHA. :D

Late for chem lecture today, like again. Sorry Gouyue! I will cfm reach sch at 9.50 am sharp next sat! :D

It was fun during the lecture tho! Chermaine, Gouyue, Juanning and I were doing some imitations HAHA. Gawd, I almost died from laughing. :D

Headed to The Jelutung place for Grad Dance practice. It was so tiring and I almost died again. It was a fruitful session tho. Ate at Macs and homed. :)

I can't believe we are having mock tests for practically all subjects starting from next week. Really, how is it fair? We had our turn of staying back every single day to do mock papers last year okay?! Man, it sucks to be in HCL. Oh yeah, thanks for the short notice. -.-

The f&n practical exam is next thursdayyyyyyy! Last year, I burnt a hole in the steamer. & hey, i'm using the steamer again next thurs. S-T-E-A-M-E-R.

Just woke up from a 3 hrs nap. :D

Anw, 'cos I was feeling so sick, decided to visit the polyclinic during recess time. Felt so sheepish when the staff at the entrance asked me what ailments I have 'cos I was actually feeling okay at that point of time alr. Was super shocked when she took my temp and went all, "小妹啊，你很烧 leh! 39 度!". I think it's v exaggerated over there 'cos I was then, immediately given a mask and put under the priority list.

It's not that bad to be put under priority 'cos the number of patients there were like, overwhelming. Headed to the pharmacy after the consultation. It actually took me 10 mins to realise that I have to get a queue number. -.- Ah, I have a 3 days mc. :)

Altho the doctor told me to avoid food like ice cream, sweets and junk in these 3 days, I bused to Northpoint just to eat ice cream. Yeah la, maybe it did nothing to improve my throat, but at least my mood is lifted. That's the most important thing. :D

& because I just had a nap, i'm feeling much better alr. Thanks all who cared. :D

Yanglaoshi was late so we had some free time. Played the usual iphone games w/ Wchien. I won her in Taptap again! HAHA. We didn't get to finish the Hockey game (phew) and thus, no winner for that right. :D Anw, there's this killing (green) pigs game which she totally enjoys playing. Short and sick!

Cloves was about sexual education. LOL, it was okay too. Ms Zarina is good. :)

It was raining heavily but I went home anw. Lucky me saw Jiarong & Siowyun. The best thing was that they both have umbrellas! :D They were super sweet to shelter me all the way to the MRT station. :)

So yup, today is good. :D

PS: Geeky Jason persuaded me to watch the korean drama serial, God of Study, 'cos there's studying tips at the end of the show. LOL. B)

PPS: Me being happy and optimistic on a bloody schooling monday. That's rare. :)

That show is like a combination of BOF and Hana Kimi. Only better, 'cos there's Yonghwa. :D HAHA. Hongki is v cute also lah *for Katherine's benefit. Had 2.4 km Run today! Regretted not running with Chermaine 'cos it's always better to have a running partner! Running alone makes you take more breaks and slack unknowingly I think, for me at least.

Anw, Kaiji was not up to my expectations. After the strategies used by the leads are revealed, you won't be too impressed or what one. & Kaiji in the movie said "他妈的" for more than 10 times. LOL.

Big time surprised about the party. Oh man, we have awesome juniors you know!!!!!! It is quite evident that much efforts and thoughts were deposited into this party. Chocolates, handmade roses, cards, pizzas, drinks and whatnots. Big thanks to you guys for being so sweeeeeet. :D Despite the fact that we sec4s were rather incompetent about certain stuffs (e.g. no camp) and failed to become the best role models, you guys still went to this extent for us. Heartwarming, really. :)

17/03/2010: 4e's Class Outing @ ECP

Went for English Supplementary before that. Seriously ah, I think people over-reacted in the way I wear my shoes. Maybe it has become a norm for me, so I thought it was quite ridiculous when people gave such zz reactions. uh, nvm.

Trained to YCK w Gouyue, Huili, Huanwen & Fiona and later met up w/ Berenice to take bus 13 to ECP. 1 hr + ride! But it's okay for me 'cos I love bus trips as long as the bus's not crowded ! :D

Met up w/ the rest there. Rented bicycles. I think we went there too early 'cos really, there's not much to do at a time like that. Cycled till there were blisters, woah. Randomly played on the beach w/ Gouyue & Fiona. Almost lost my slippers, more than once. -.- So my mother was saying the truth when she told me that I can't go near the waters 'cos supposingly, a fortune-teller mentioned that something disastrous will happen to me if I do. LOL.

Returned the bicycles. Ryan damn strong. He rode his bicyle with one hand and used the other hand to support another bike. *clap :D On our way back to the BBQ pit, Bryan was depressed about his lost wallet so Ryan & Wangkiat kept giving him funny and stupid suggestions. You can never get bored from listening to their conversation. HAHA.

Reached BBQ Pit. Played some group games like Chik Chik Bang Bang, TuTu Train, I've Never - and whatnots. Ate a little, thanks to the people who helped with the bbq-ing. :D Played water bombs. You can see how stressed out people are from the perverse triump looks they have when their bombs hit somebody. LOL, jokeeee. Quite fun lah, thanks to the people who helped fill up the bombs. :D Played Taptap w/ Roy (& I WON LOLLLLLLLLLLL). Played the uhhhh, what ? Tongchak game ? Not v sure, but it was super noisy. =x

Truth/ Dare was the most smashing one. HAHAHA! The dares were superrrrrrrrrrrr. & I think 4e is darn sporting! Laughed a lotttttt. :D Our class did a final dare TOGETHER. The plan was to jog past some random people and suddenly, someone will look up and go all "EH?!". Then the whole lot of us would point at that direction. Oh man, I suck in describing but it's smth like Just for Laughs. LOL.

Packed up. Walked for vvvvvvvvvvvvvv long to find a cab. Eventually got one somewhere near some bus stop. Cabbed home w/ Fiona, Sean and Junhao. Wah, v awkward. LOL.

Thanks for the quality time together, 4e. :)

Yesterday:

I used the comp for a wee bit longer, which made my brother pissed off (uh okay..) . When I was about to let him use the comp, he started his series of vulgarities which seriously pissed me off. So I refused to let him use.

He got even more angry lah duh, so he took my ez-link card and started bending it. So, I took his Yugioh limited edition cards and started bending too. LOL. Get the facts right here okay, I'm not the childish one.

I unplugged the laptop and brought it everywhere I go (in the house lah). Eventually, it was too tiring so I gave up and let him used the comp. Instant regret. He went to delete my user account!! Seriously, what the hell. All my documents (F&N research & coursework included man) are there. Totally wanted to strangle him on the spot.

Okay anw, I demanded that he resume my documents. But before he did so, *pause for dramatic effect* , he wholly threw my ez-link card out of the window!

In case you're wondering, we live on the 14th floor.

& if he really cannot resist doing smth stupid like this, at least he should aim properly in case my card dropped into some drains right. Nope, he backfaced the window and threw it down in the coooooolest way ever. He saw how shocked I am and even said darn smugly, "You just got pwned". LOL, okay lah. He said that for at least 10 times throughout the whole conflict.

I went down to look for my card lah duh. It was hard, 'cos it was night time for goodness sake. Nvm, I found it eventually. :DDDDDDDDD

Okay, I'm lazy to continue alr. Just to track, my user account is now like an empty shell 'cos my brother imposed severe parental control over it. Cannot even use Internet lah, wth. My brother and I are on okay terms alr (yah, we're really those kind that can get over grudges after a day) but the thing is, he can't remove my parental control 'cos I made him a standard user before that. Thus, there are no admininstrators alr. & i'm stuck using my brother's user acc.

All graduating students went for this 3 days motivational workshop. Thought it would be kinda boring since it's bloody 10 hours per day! Now that we have reached the end of the workshop, I still feel that the workshop is a little draggy. A little! It was fun if you view it as a whole. :D

I wouldn't say the workshop was enlightening 'cos honestly, I don't have that O.O I-DIE-DIE-MUST-STUDY-NOWWWWWWW (with numerous !!!!!!!!!!! behind) mood still. But, it was definitely enriching I guess. In all aspects, I learnt a little something that's valuable. :)

Okay, ~~I'm old and have failing memory~~ I've too many things up my mind and I can't remember entirely what we did ! Shall try to recall to my best ability. Events in point forms are not in chronological order.

First day:

There was this snacks game but it's v hard to put into sentences so I shan't bother to. Anw, it was fruitful 'cos we get to keep the snacks we took. :D
Played House of Cards (?) . Derive how the game works from the photos taken. (: Apparently, I kind of suck at it lah but it's alright. LOL.
I found my ambition that day, whooooooooooo. Like seriously, I was feeling depressed since primary school 'cos I didn't have a dream job to work towards to. Now, I can proudly announce that I want to be a journalist! :D A journalist that gets to travel around the world to mainly write articles, describing about how lovely a particular country is, etc. Omggggg, sounds too good to be true man. Frankly speaking, I don't even know if there are such jobs available but if there really isn't, it's time to create such jobs alr! :DDDDDDDDDDDDDD Of course, after earning enough $$$, I shall retire to the countryside to rear pigs. :DDDDDDDDDDD LOL, I know I repeated the same thing over and over again in blog. Aye, bringing more emphasis to it gives me more determination mah. (:
There was this sharing session where people could choose to share their fears. Emotional time for some.

Second day:

Played Huddle, where group members have to hook arms with their group members and die die not let them get snatched by the coaches. Totally hysterical man. Anw, many (or rather Huili & I) were impressed with Ryan's determination to prevent Roy from getting snatched. He used like all his might to save Roy man, that's friendship for me. (Y) Anw, the moral behind this game is rather meaningful. I like. :)
Some riddle puzzles to solve. Excited by the lion one 'cos Bryan tested us before, haha!
Sharing session to encourage/motivate/apologise to anybody present. Totally a meltdown (for most). But somehow, it became super hilarious at one point. HAHAHA! :D uh, I would say it was a heartwarming moment. Seeing classmates baring their hearts in front of you, how does that feel ? I don't have a word for it, but I was cheering throughout. Those people who stood up to share their thoughts are people with courage. :) Kudos.
I learnt that i'm a right-brainer, visual learner & has a 'S' Personality. A pure 'S' , hahaha! So, i'm supposingly a super-nice and shy person, suits me to a T man! LOL. Anw, 'S' personality people have few friends but the friends they currently have are the ones they will cherish forever *do buddybuddy action to all my dear friends* . :D Hahaha! True for me, 'cos I don't like to make new friends so thus, I tend to cherish my current ones a lot ! :D

Third day:

More theory today. Like the various effective note-taking methods and so forth. Undeniably dull, but gotta listen no matter what rightttt.
Barney Jigsaw Puzzle Game! I hate Barney. But that's not the point. Every group has to try to solve the puzzle asap, supposedly to show the effectiveness of familiarising I think.
The "I've never.." game was so cooooooool. B) Again, it's hard to explain this game via words so shan't bother. :D The game was hilarious, altho I was so targeted. x.x Hahaha!
Played Pepsi Cola 123 game with Wchien & co. I won, darn pro! LOL. Played the Bang Bang game also, so fun! :D
Each group has to present a way to feel alert when lethargic. Our group did the chicken dance! :D Hahaha, v standard but still.. :) Wangkiat's group presented jokes that are not v funny but we still laughed v hard 'cos the people who were saying it are funny. :D HAHA! Like seriously. & Delfin's group's one was wayyyyyyy mature content. -,-
There was a sudden Emaths test ! Like haha, quite shocked 'cos it was really out of nowhere. Coach Yvonne told us the rationale behind it after the test. :D

I will miss Coach Yvonne and her motivational workshop a lotttttt. I like sincere people like her. :)

Meaning that everything is wrong and perhaps 8 marks gone. Already.

Amaths was so horrible that I shan't even attempt to type anything about it. It's really beyond words. My brother and I were picking on each other yesterday. It was only 10 plus lah. Then I was studying mah. My gawdamn-oh-mighty brother was pestering me to switch off the lights because he wanted to sleep (srsly, on purpose one okay he!). When I ignored him, he went to switch off the lights himself. I switched it back on. He switched it off. I switched it on again. He switched it off again.

Okay, quite childish. But anw, we ended up both stationing ourselves near the switch 'cos we didn't want to give in. He took some mattress and slammed it on the switch to 1. Prevent me from switching the lights on and 2. to sleep on it. Yes, he is quite innovative. -.- On the other hand, I just stood there with my notes, using the pathetic light from the living room to read.

It took him a few minutes to realise that his sleeping position sucks. Thus, clever him tried to shun me out by closing the door. But aye, it's just too bad that i'm strong. :) Haha! Being the loser that he is, he crumpled my notes to vent his frustration which OF COURSE, I went to complain to my mother.

My mother was so angry that she threw mine and my brother's bag out of the house. Like, her tactic forever no change. When she realised we didn't bother about retrieving back our bags, she kept walking in and give worried comments, "不要以为我会帮你们拿回 hor!" OR "再不拿回来, Garang Guni 拿走不关我的事啊!". It was only when my grandmother kept nagging when my brother went to take back his bag. Did I mention what a gawdamn-oh-mighty person he is ?! He took his bag and kindly threw my bag further away. Like thank you lah. -.- I took his bag that he took inside and threw it out again. What a vicious cycle.

Okay, so ended up revising nothing. I have the best bro in the world.

I seriously think that an hour is not sufficient to complete a combined humanities paper lor.

Social Studies Paper was okay 'cos the question was kinda expected. But 'cos of time constraint, skipped the linking line of all 3 factors plus the weighing part. What wasted marks. Literature Paper was horrible. I stared at the poem for perhaps 3 minutes and still didn't have a gist of what it is talking about. What wasted time.

Ended up with only a couple of minutes to answer the 2 qns. Managed to scribble down some crap. Believe me when I said it's crap. Like seriously okay. T.T Now, I only hope I can pass the Lit paper. If unbelievably, I managed to reach the targeted grade for Lit, I shall uhhhhh, not use fb/plurk/blog/youtube for a day! :D Okay, make it 3 days. Aye, v desperate to reach targeted grade man. 'Cos Mdm Samboo said that if anybody didn't, she would ring up our parents (FOR WHAT?!) or smth. What a hopeless situation. )';

Watched Percy Jackson & the Lightning Thief w/ Xinru, Preethika, Jason, Deepak and Rebecca on I-forgot-when! It's rather awesome, at least the guy lead more handome than Harry Potter/Edward Cullen (that's what I think lah)! :D Anw, we had nothing to do before the movie started so headed to the library. Deepak saw this magazine featuring Megan Foxx, held it up and went all, "I saw what I came here for." LOL, what's the deal about MF man. Phoebe and Jiaqing joined us for short chats in the lib. (:

Photos taken on this Cloves lesson where people were sabo-ed to play the blind mice thingy game. I was one of the suay ones, zzz. T.T Anw, the moral is to gain trust or smth between friends. Ms Wong was like saying that one would tend to trust friends than strangers more. Uh, I think I would trust strangers more in this aspect 'cos they cfm will be too shy to set up any horrible obstacles or give wrong directions one. HAHA.

Back from reunion dinner @ bedok grandmaa's house. Played Monopoly Pokemon with small cousins afterwards. It's my favourite version. :D Not childish or what, just that the rest too erxin alr. Like what, disney princess and stuff. :&

Homed. My cousin got busted by my aunt for having a girlf and my relatives are being v exaggerated. HAHAHA, poor him. :D

CNY Celebrations '10 in CCHY

Hello folks! It has been long since I use such starters for blog posts. :D

CNY Celebrations in school today! No red shirts/mandarin oranges/cny goodies to start a mini party in class + Morning lessons = No CNY feel. :O Our CNY's performance was okay I think. Thankfully, there were international dancers sitting in front, cheering super enthusiastically. Hahaha. :D & 2 ponytails super don't suit me man, aiyoh.

Wanted to watch the drama performance but missed it. ): Oh, 4e didn't win for the CNY Deco Competition! Omg lah, rather disappointed. When the emcee was about to announce the winner, great-oh-mighty sec4 dancers were like rooting for 4e, yay. :D I went all "WALAU" when it was not our anticipated outcome. Felt instantly loserish for saying that and thus, clapped v loudly for 4h afterwards. Hahahah.

Headed to Northpoint w/ Sylvene, Gouyue, Yuenyee, Juanning & Huanwen to lunch @ Breeks. :)

Slept all the way on the bus trip back home! It has been quite a while since I last took bus trips back home. Love bus trips. :D

PS: I owe so many people $ today ! Owe many hmwk also. Super inauspicious hor. :O

PPS: I don't want CNY to arrive leh. There will be endless of bai nian to do and neverending chaos in the house. I would like a quiet chinese new year, please grant me. :( & subsequently, there will be Chingay & common tests. Shit.
